Scope State of the arts in
medical and healthcare is led by many kinds of medical informatics systems
such as database, network, data processing, signal/image processing,
etc. To automate such systems, to
improve the performance, and/or to increase the functional roles, intelligent
computing technologies must be the principal player. The technologies will
include statistical approaches, probability approaches, soft computing
approaches, and so on. In addition, to formulate problems in medical and
healthcare field, clinical studies must be discussed. That is, the scope of
this session includes theory, technology, application, and clinical studies
based on the medical systems. In this session, we aim to gather not only
engineering researchers but also medical doctors in order to discuss the most
recent technologies and to find new problems. Main topics

Important dates Submission of papers: 31 March 2013 Notification of Acceptance:
15 April 2013 Receipt of publication
files:1 May 2013 Submission procedure Prospective authors are
invited to submit their papers. The authors should prepare full-length papers
according to KES2013 conference style (http://kes2013.kesinternational.org),
and send PDF file to both of organizers (kobashi@eng.u-hyogo.ac.jp and kawanaka@elec.mie-u.ac.jp) by the
deadline. Each paper should be concise with sufficient detail and references
to allow critical review. Papers will be reviewed by nominally three referees
for technical merit and content. Accepted papers will appear in the
conference proceedings as same as the general session papers. |
