From Kansai International Airport to Himeji City
BY AIRPORT LIMOUSINE BUS
The Airport Limousine Bus is a useful mode of transportation to go from Kansai International Airport to Himeji city. Bus stops are located outside the International Arrivals floor of the Passenger Terminal Building (1st floor center). Tickets can be purchased from ticket vending machines located outside the Passenger Terminal Building on the 1st floor. The bus will take you to the Shinki-bus terminal at Himeji in 130 min (3,000 JPY). The Shinki-bus terminal at Himeji neighbors the Japan Railway (JR) station at Himeji. If you don't get the Airport Limousine Bus bound for Himeji at the airport at your convenient hour, you can use the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport to Kobe Sannomiya station (2,100 JPY, 65 min), and the JR (Japan Rail Way) from Sannomiya station to Himeji station (950 yen, 40 min).From downtown Himeji to University of Hyogo
BY BUS
Our laboratory is located on the Himeji-Shosha campus of the University of Hyogo(UH). You can get to UH Shosha campus by Shinki-bus. At JR Himeji station, please go out the north ticket wicket (You can see Himeji Castel, UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List.). You will find the Shinki-bus terminal at Himeji (orange-colored buses) on the left hand side of the north entrance of the station. Please go to the central gate of the bus terminal to take the No. 41, No. 42, No. 43, or No.45 buses. These buses take you to the "Kenritsudai-Kougakubu". It takes about 30 min from Himeji station to Kenritsudai-kougakubu by bus. The bus fare is 360 JPY.
BY TAXI
If you get a taxi from JR Himeji station, It takes 30 min and costs 2,500 JPY.
