



Although invisible, electrons in motion are at the heart of every electrical function we use in our daily lives. Professor Fujisawa explores ways to control their behavior in materials and devices, opening the door to new and useful technologies.
Through this research, students develop a strong foundation in solid-state physics, electromagnetism, and electric circuit theory, while acquiring practical skills in the fabrication and characterization of electronic materials and devices.
This research explores transparent electronic devices that are almost invisible to the eye while providing useful functions. For example, we develop low-power transistors that can be fabricated on surfaces such as glass and plastic. By incorporating transparent electronics into a variety of surfaces, it becomes possible to create new functions that conventional devices cannot offer.
