Notifications and Applications

Please submit the required notification to the Academic Affairs Office in the following cases. Forms are also available at the Academic Affairs Office.

Absence due to illness or other reason, less than three months Notification of Absence Less than three months.
For illness of one month or longer, please attach a medical certificate.
Absence from a regular examination, including midterm examinations Application for Approval of Examination Absence In principle, please contact the Academic Affairs Office in advance and submit the form.
A medical certificate is required in the case of illness.

Facility Use Applications

At the Himeji Engineering Campus, faculty, staff, students, and organizations composed of these members may use designated facilities for their activities under certain conditions.

Facilities Subject to Permission

Gymnasium, martial arts hall, multipurpose room, training room, eastern ground, area in front of the cooperative shop, and other facilities specially approved by the university president.

Application Procedure

Please submit the Application for Use of Designated Facilities to the Academic Affairs Office.
Applications must be submitted at least ten days before use.

Issuance of Certificates

Certificates for Current Students

Certificates such as academic transcripts in Japanese, enrollment certificates, and expected graduation or completion certificates should be requested through online application and received from the on-campus certificate issuing machine or a convenience store. Certificates cannot be received by postal mail.

Certificates for Alumni

Alumni of the School of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering, University of Hyogo, should apply online and receive certificates at convenience stores. Certificates that cannot be requested online, such as sealed certificates, should be requested by postal mail or at the Academic Affairs Office of the Himeji Engineering Campus.

Alumni of Himeji Institute of Technology cannot use online application. Please apply by postal mail or at the Academic Affairs Office. Certificates can be issued at the Himeji Engineering Campus only for alumni of the School of Engineering and Graduate School of Engineering.
Graduation or completion certificates issued at the time of graduation or completion include the degree name.
